Certification reports

Testing

Certifications (formerly called ratings) must be reported to USPC and the RS.  This can be done several ways.

1. Traditional - can be done on-line - go to "Publications" - "forms" - "Testing D1 - C2"  Scroll down and select "Ratings Update Form"  This is the on-line version and is only a available currently for traditional certification or if you have done the Alternative Rating Progression.  If you submit this on-line form you are done as the National office will send a copy to the RS.

2. Hunt Seat - must be done with a hard copy - see form below.  They are working on adding the hunt seat to the on-line form but for now it must be printed out and a copy mailed to both USPC and the RS.

3.  Western - Note you must contact the USPC office BEFORE scheduling a Western test.  The Western certification report form is a separate form and for now it will remain a hard copy report.  Report is below - complete and send a copy to USPC and the RS.

As with all reports and forms, keep a copy for your club's records.

2012 Standards + Preps

Testing

Below are the new Standards for 2012 - see the new additions for Western & Hunt Seat.  Also added are the flowcharts for all certification levels.  There is a flowchart check sheet that can be printed for each member.  This provides a quick reference for the DC/CA or instructor to see where the member stands in their preparation for their next rating.

Below are the prep guides for ratings D1 - C2 as well as for HB and HA.  Thanks to Mid California Region for providing the content!  The D1 through C2 have been updated to the 2012 Standards.  The HB & HA are still from the 2009 SOP's so please check them against the new tests.
